Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new urology specialist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Ramsay Kuo, MD, is now accepting patients at the FPG Urology practice in Waldemere Medical Plaza, along with Dr. Robert Carey and Dr. Daniel Kaplon.
Dr. Kuo is board certified and fellowship trained in Urology, addressing anatomic conditions affecting the urinary tract. Utilizing endourologic and robotic assisted techniques, Dr. Kuo performs minimally invasive surgery for kidney stones, kidney obstruction and kidney tumors. He has extensive experience performing the highly specialized Holmium Laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) procedure to treat severe prostate enlargement. Additional specialties include treatment for male sexual dysfunction and hypogonadism/low testosterone.
Dr. Kuo received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina and his Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.
