Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new interventional cardiologist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Mohamed Morsy, MD, FACC, FSCAI, RPVI, is now accepting patients at FPG’s Venice Medical Office Building on our SMH-Venice Campus.
Dr. Morsy is board certified and fellowship trained in cardiology, interventional cardiology, nuclear medicine, echocardiography, vascular medicine and cardiac computed tomography. He specializes in complex, high risk and indicated coronary interventions and peripheral vascular disease interventions. Dr. Morsy performs a wide range of cardiac services including comprehensive echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, vascular and endovascular medicine, monitoring device implantation, interventional management for pulmonary embolism, critical limb ischemia and limb salvage procedures.
Dr. Morsy received his medical degree from the University of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria, Egypt. He completed his residency at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and his fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
