Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new endocrinologist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Angela Boldo, MD, ECNU, is now accepting patients at FPG’s Endocrinology practice at Waldemere Medical Plaza.
Dr. Boldo is board certified and fellowship trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She is also certified in endocrine neck ultrasound and has advanced training in ultrasound-guided fine needle aspiration. Dr. Boldo specializes in diagnosis and medical management of thyroid and parathyroid disorders and metabolic bone disease including comprehensive osteoporosis treatment.
Dr. Boldo received her medical degree from Universidade Estadual De Campinas, Campinas, Brazil. She completed residencies at Universidade De Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, Brazil and the University of Connecticut in Farmington. Her fellowship was with the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Boldo is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and German.
