Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new plastic and reconstructive surgeon to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
David Yan, MD, FACS, is now accepting patients at FPG’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Venice Medical Office Building.
Dr. Yan is board certified and fellowship trained in Plastic Surgery. He performs a wide variety of complex reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures. Dr. Yan specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery, skin cancer surgery, scar revisions and burn reconstruction, face and neck lifts, otoplasty, and body contouring including arm and thigh lifts, abdominoplasty and liposuction.
Dr. Yan received his medical degree from SUNY Update Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed his internship at Pennsylvania Hospital and his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. His fellowship was completed at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
