Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new pediatrician to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network this week.
Avanee Lobo, MD, is now accepting new patients at FPG’s Venice Island Pediatrics in Venice along with Dr. Rachna Gulati and Dr. Azima Khan.
Dr. Lobo is a general pediatric specialist providing patient-centered, comprehensive care for children from birth through age 18. Her expertise ranges from treating medically complex patients and episodic sick care to promoting health through regular well-visits, physicals and routine checkups.
Dr. Lobo received her medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, FL. She went on to complete her internship at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and her pediatric medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, Miami, FL.
The Venice Island Pediatric Practice is located at 145 Miami Avenue East, Venice.
