Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new pediatrician to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Jennifer Scheer, DO, is now accepting new patients at FPG’s Pediatrics of Lakewood Ranch along with Dr. Katherine Keeley, Dr. Jose Tavarez and Chance McColley, PA-C.
Dr. Scheer is a board-certified general pediatric specialist providing patient-centered, comprehensive care for children from birth through age 18. In addition to treating episodic sick care, she specializes in promoting physical and mental health through regular well-visits, physicals and routine checkups.
Dr. Scheer received her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Fort Worth, TX . She went on to complete her internship and residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Ohio State University, in Columbus, Ohio.
