Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new obstetrics and gynecology specialist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Anthony Canino, Jr., MD, is now accepting patients at the FPG OB/GYN practice in our new Venice Medical Office Building, along with Angela Marshall, MD. Dr. Canino has extensive experience in a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological concerns, including contraception, pregnancy, childbirth, infertility, sexual dysfunction, hysterectomy and tubal ligation procedures, as well as preventative care, such as pelvic exams, pap smears and biopsies.
Dr. Canino received his medical degree from the SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn in 1988. He then completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency program at Staten Island University Hospital in 1992.
