Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new internal medicine doctor to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network in November.
Reed Holland, DO, is accepting patients at FPG’s new medical office building on the Sarasota Memorial Hospital – Venice Campus as of November 15, 2021.
Dr. Holland is a doctor of osteopathic medicine who provides patient-centered, comprehensive care. His expertise ranges from treating chronic conditions to promoting health through regular physicals and routine checkups. He specializes in managing multiple complex disease processes.
Dr. Holland received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, in 2010. He completed his internal medicine residency at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida, in 2013. Dr. Holland then went on to serve as an adjunct professor over internal medicine clinical rotations at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, from 2013 to 2016. He practiced with the Lakewood Ranch Medical Group’s Manatee Physicians Alliance and was on staff at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, Florida from 2013 through September of 2021, specializing in internal medicine and adult primary care.
