Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new family medicine doctor to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network this week.
Siyang Lu, DO, is now accepting patients at FPG’s Venice Bypass Family Medicine Practice in Venice, along with Mitchel Beasley, MD and Veronica Nabizada, MD. Dr. Lu provides patient-centered, comprehensive care to patients ranging from adolescent to geriatric. His expertise ranges from treating chronic conditions to promoting health through regular physicals and routine checkups. He specializes in musculoskeletal disorders, sports medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT).
Dr. Lu received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, in 2018. He went on to complete his family medicine residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine/Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL, in 2021.
