Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new family medicine doctor to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network this month.
Mario Azuero, MD, will be joining Dr. Emiliana Cruz-Hillis and Dr. Kristin Paulus in accepting patients at FPG’s Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatric practice at the Clark Road Health Care Center.
Dr. Azuero provides medical care for all ages. He utilizes his clinical expertise to manage acute and chronic medical conditions. He performs annual wellness exams, as well as comprehensive and preventative screenings. Dr. Azuero has a true passion for community-based care. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Dr. Azuero is board certified in family medicine. He received his medical degree from Universidad Mexico-Americana del Norte, Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico. He completed his family medicine residency and U.S. training at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
