Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new plastic and reconstructive microsurgeon to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
Justin R. Bryant, DO, MBA, FACS is now accepting patients at FPG’s Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Waldemere Medical Plaza. Dr. Bryant will be partnering with Dr. Jerette Schultz.
Dr. Bryant is fellowship trained in both microvascular surgery and craniofacial reconstructive surgery. He performs a wide variety of plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures for patients of all ages. Dr. Bryant specializes in reconstructive microsurgery, autologous DIEP flap and implant breast reconstruction, partial breast reconstruction after lumpectomy, lower extremity reconstruction/limb salvage, lymphovenous bypass, perforator flaps, targeted muscle reinnervation, reconstruction after radiation, craniofacial reconstruction, oncologic and complex reconstruction.
Dr. Bryant received his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He completed two residencies – one in general surgery at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and one in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Beaumont Health in Farmington Hills, Michigan. He also completed two fellowships – one in Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC and one in Reconstructive Microsurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
