Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new urology specialist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
William Fredriksson, Jr., MD, is now accepting patients at the FPG Urology practice in Waldemere Medical Plaza, along with Dr. Robert Carey, Dr. Daniel Kaplon and Dr. Ramsay Kuo.
Dr. Fredriksson is board certified in Urology and treats conditions affecting the urinary tract in men, women and children. Utilizing endourologic and other techniques, he performs minimally invasive and transurethral surgery for urologic conditions including kidney stones, repair of prolapse and cancers of the prostate, kidney, bladder, testicles and penis. In addition, he treats incontinence issues, urinary tract infections, urgency, poor flow, and erectile dysfunction.
Dr. Fredriksson received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston, TX where he also completed his residency.
