Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is welcoming a new Allergy and Immunology specialist to the health system’s First Physicians Group (FPG) network.
John Trickett, Jr., MD, is now accepting patients at the FPG Silverstein Institute practices in Sarasota, Venice and Lakewood Ranch.
Dr. Trickett is an allergy and immunology specialist who tests and treats adult and pediatric patients for environmental, food, medication, and insect allergies. He specializes in providing advanced allergy and asthma therapies in addition to the evaluation and treatment of primary immunodeficiency.
Dr. Trickett received his medical degree from the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he was also selected to serve an additional Chief Residency year. His Fellowship was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
